MOT
C.M.C. are well equipped and qualified to carry out M.O.T. tests on cars and light commercial vehicles.
If you have a car that is more than 3 years old it will need an MOT Test each year to ensure that it meets at least the minimum road safety and environmental standards. Most of the sections in the M.O.T Test cover the safety aspects of the vehicle. The M.O.T. Test also checks for emissions to minimise the environmental effects caused by vehicles. MOT's can only be undertaken at garages authorized by the Vehicle Inspectorate to carry out the tests. They are easily identifiable by the blue, 3 triangle MOT Sign. It is an offence to operate a vehicle on the roads without a valid M.O.T. Certificate - Check Yours Now. We will always seek your approval before we do any work on your vehicle. In the case of MOTs, we are able to complete most repairs on the same day, avoiding the necessity for a return visit. At your first visit we willl store your car details on our database so that we can call you with a reminder when your MOT is due.
Servicing
Regular vehicle servicing will extend your vehicles life and enhance its performance. The reason for this is simple - defects are found before they become serious. By regularly servicing your vehicle you can reduce the cost of repairs over your vehicle's life and potentially increase its resale value. Please check your Vehicle Service Schedule to make sure that you are not overdue - whether on time or mileage. Remember that a Full Service History is important for the best resale value of your vehicle. The cost of your service will depend on many factors, so please call or email for a quotation. We recommend that you regularly check lubricant levels, water & fluid levels, and tyre pressures between services or call in and we can do this for you.
